Poster Contents
The poster should describe:
materials and/or technology
problem statement and research motivation
literature review (optional)
novelty of research and/or approach
research methodology, and
potential applications
Poster Presentation
One day prior to the event, all participants will receive instructions via email on how to join the presentation session.
The session chair will remind the presenter of their allotted time before the session begins.
Each presenter will have 10 minutes to present their work, followed by a 5-minute Q&A session with the judges. It is mandatory for all presenters to complete their presentation within the allotted 10 minutes.
Evaluation Criteria
The presentation will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
The presentation of the research, including visual aspects of the poster.
The research on the aspects of quality, novelty, and significance of contribution.
The presenter’s verbal discussion via a short presentation of their research.
The question and answer session between the participants and a panel of judges.
Awards
All participants, including winners, will receive an e-Certificate that will be sent via email after the program. Winners' awards will be updated on the website.
Medals will be available for winners to collect from the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Universiti Putra Malaysia (for participants from UPM) or will be sent by postage (for participants outside UPM).
Please ensure that you provide accurate information, including the names of all authors/researchers and email addresses, as this will impact the information displayed on your e-Certificate.
